Fintech Sales Representative 


We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Fintech Sales Representative (FSR).  The FSR executes strategies to increase company partnerships with financial institutions. The FSR is responsible for scheduling and meeting with prospects and clients to close deals and improve speed to revenue. The FSR responsibilities include developing an in-depth knowledge of company/partner offerings, pricing, and policies, and extensive pipeline management. The FSR should also ensure that the company is able to achieve revenue targets. The FSR reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and works closely with Relationship Management, Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams.

  • Drive strategic growth and partnerships within the financial institution channel by selling SaaS, program management, point solutions, and consulting services  
  • Increase the number of financial institution opportunities through industry connections, referrals, social media presence, and FI conferences 
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals 
  • Provide quick follow-up to referred leads and status updates to referring party  
  • Track and maintain detailed pipeline within Merchant’s PACT CRM system by inputting key data points, tracking activity, and keeping current notes on prospects within the system.  
  • Analyze prospect feedback to determine whether prospects are receptive with company products and services during pitch.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes. 
  • Collaborate with team to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities. 
  • Provide pipeline updates to CCO & Director of Financial Institution Sales on a regular basis 
  • Work with Director of Sales to assist financial institutions with point solution needs  
  • Attend conferences and shows to showcase solutions and build pipeline 
  • May be required to travel 5-10% throughout the year  


  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field. 
  • Knowledge of payment industry, processing platforms, pricing, products, and services 
  • Proven experience working as a business development officer or similar role. 
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. 
  • The ability to travel as needed. 
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills. 
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to learn systems quickly including Salesforce or other CRM
